Who is this coming from Edom, from the city of Bozrah, dressed in red? Who is this dressed in fine clothes and marching forward with his great power? He says, “I, the Lord, speak what is right. I have the power to save you.”

Power and peace will be in his kingdom and will continue to grow forever. He will rule as king on David’s throne and over David’s kingdom. The Lord says, “I swear by my own name that the city of Bozrah will become a pile of ruins! People will be shocked by what happened there. They will insult that city and speak evil of it. And all the towns around it will become ruins forever.”

God is not a human being, and he will not lie. He is not a human, and he does not change his mind. What he says he will do, he does. What he promises, he makes come true.

When Jesus entered Jerusalem, all the city was filled with excitement. The people asked, “Who is this man?”

So he is able always to save those who come to God through him because he always lives, asking God to help them.

God’s power protects you through your faith until salvation is shown to you at the end of time.

He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.
