Then God remembered Rachel and answered her prayer, making it possible for her to have children.

When the Lord saw that Jacob loved Rachel more than Leah, he made it possible for Leah to have children, but not Rachel.

But God remembered Noah and all the wild and tame animals with him in the boat. He made a wind blow over the earth, and the water went down.

He gives children to the woman who has none and makes her a happy mother. Praise the Lord!

Jacob became angry with her and said, “Can I do what only God can do? He is the one who has kept you from having children.”

Children are a gift from the Lord; babies are a reward.

He remembered his holy promise to his servant Abraham.

Isaac’s wife could not have children, so Isaac prayed to the Lord for her. The Lord heard Isaac’s prayer, and Rebekah became pregnant.

Later Leah gave birth to a daughter and named her Dinah.

He had two sons by his wife Rachel: Joseph and Benjamin.
