Isaac said to his father Abraham, “Father!” Abraham answered, “Yes, my son.” Isaac said, “We have the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb we will burn as a sacrifice?”
and came to the place God had told him about. Abraham built an altar there. He laid the wood on it and then tied up his son Isaac and laid him on the wood on the altar.
Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here. The Lord has sent me to the Jordan River.” Elisha answered, “As the Lord lives, and as you live, I won’t leave you.” So the two of them went on.
Amaziah said to the man of God, “But what about the seventy-five hundred pounds of silver I paid to the Israelite army?” The man of God answered, “The Lord can give you much more than that.”
And all who live on earth will worship the beast—all the people since the beginning of the world whose names are not written in the Lamb’s book of life. The Lamb is the One who was killed.
Then I saw a Lamb standing in the center of the throne and in the middle of the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb looked as if he had been killed. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God that were sent into all the world.
I answered, “You know, sir.” And the elder said to me, “These are the people who have come out of the great distress. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
