The angel said, “Hagar, Sarai’s slave girl, where have you come from? Where are you going?” Hagar answered, “I am running away from my mistress Sarai.”

God heard the boy crying, and God’s angel called to Hagar from heaven. He said, “What is wrong, Hagar? Don’t be afraid! God has heard the boy crying there.

He saw the traveler in the public square and asked, “Where are you going? Where did you come from?”

When he came in and stood before his master, Elisha said to him, “Where have you been, Gehazi?” “I didn’t go anywhere,” he answered.
