His feet were like bronze that glows hot in a furnace, and his voice was like the noise of flooding water.

I was given a measuring stick like a rod, and I was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, and count the people worshiping there.

The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod made of gold to measure the city, its gates, and its wall.
