He is the only One who never dies. He lives in light so bright no one can go near it. No one has ever seen God, or can see him. May honor and power belong to God forever. Amen.

And God never said this to an angel: “Sit by me at my right side until I put your enemies under your control.”

Manoah said, “We have seen God, so we will surely die.”

Then Gideon understood he had been talking to the angel of the Lord. So Gideon cried out, “Lord God! I have seen the angel of the Lord face to face!”
