Exodus 15:2

The Lord gives me strength and makes me sing; he has saved me. He is my God, and I will praise him. He is the God of my ancestors, and I will honor him.

You sit as the Holy One. The praises of Israel are your throne.

Lord, you are my God. I honor you and praise you, because you have done amazing things. You have always done what you said you would do; you have done what you planned long ago.

But Israel will be saved by the Lord, and that salvation will continue forever. Never again will Israel be put to shame.

Now he told me, “You are an important servant to me to bring back the tribes of Jacob, to bring back the people of Israel who are left alive. But, more importantly, I will make you a light for all nations to show people all over the world the way to be saved.”

This is what the Lord says: “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. So do you think you can build a house for me? Do I need a place to rest?

It was foolish to worship idols on the hills and on the mountains. Surely the salvation of Israel comes from the Lord our God.

“This is the agreement I will make with the people of Israel at that time,” says the Lord: “I will put my teachings in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

The people of Israel and Judah will be my people, and I will be their God.

You came out to save your people, to save your chosen one. You crushed the leader of the wicked ones and took everything he had, from head to toe.Selah

The third that is left I will test with fire, purifying them like silver, testing them like gold. Then they will call on me, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘You are my people,’ and they will say, ‘The Lord is our God.’ ”

You will make his people know that they will be saved by having their sins forgiven.

With my own eyes I have seen your salvation,

You Samaritans worship something you don’t understand. We understand what we worship, because salvation comes from the Jews.

so that all people will honor the Son as much as they honor the Father. Anyone who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.

God was in Christ, making peace between the world and himself. In Christ, God did not hold the world guilty of its sins. And he gave us this message of peace.

And in Christ you, too, are being built together with the Jews into a place where God lives through the Spirit.

He is the one you should praise; he is your God, who has done great and wonderful things for you, which you have seen with your own eyes.

And everyone will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and bring glory to God the Father.

I can do all things through Christ, because he gives me strength.

All of God lives fully in Christ (even when Christ was on earth),
