I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you. I will make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others.

But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him kindness and caused the prison warden to like Joseph.

Mordecai was very important in the king’s palace. He was famous in all the empire, because he was becoming a leader of more and more people.

He caused them to be pitied by those who held them captive.

The Israelites did what Moses told them to do and asked their Egyptian neighbors for things made of silver and gold and for clothing.

The Lord caused the Egyptians to think well of them, and the Egyptians gave the people everything they asked for. So the Israelites took rich gifts from them.

I will cause the Egyptians to think well of the Israelites. So when you leave, they will give gifts to your people.

The people who have hurt you will bow down to you; those who hated you will bow down at your feet. They will call you The City of the Lord, Jerusalem, city of the Holy One of Israel.

The Egyptians taught Moses everything they knew, and he was a powerful man in what he said and did.

There has never been another prophet in Israel like Moses. The Lord knew Moses face to face

and sent him to do signs and miracles in Egypt—to the king, to all his officers, and to the whole land of Egypt.

That day the Lord made Joshua great in the opinion of all the Israelites. They respected Joshua all his life, just as they had respected Moses.

Those in the synagogue that belongs to Satan say they are Jews, but they are not true Jews; they are liars. I will make them come before you and bow at your feet, and they will know that I have loved you.
