The more wealth people have, the more friends they have to help spend it. So what do people really gain? They gain nothing except to look at their riches.

It is better to see what you have than to want more. Wanting more is useless— like chasing the wind.

Zechariah and Elizabeth truly did what God said was good. They did everything the Lord commanded and were without fault in keeping his law.

Command those who are rich with things of this world not to be proud. Tell them to hope in God, not in their uncertain riches. God richly gives us everything to enjoy.
