The wind blows to the south; it blows to the north. It blows from one direction and then another. Then it turns around and repeats the same pattern, going nowhere.

You suffer in your clothes when the land is silenced by the hot, south wind.

The storm comes from where it was stored; the cold comes with the strong winds.

He spoke, and a storm came up, which blew up high waves.

He stilled the storm and calmed the waves.

All the rivers flow to the sea, but the sea never becomes full.

You don’t know where the wind will blow, and you don’t know how a baby grows inside the mother. In the same way, you don’t know what God is doing, or how he created everything.

But the Lord sent a great wind on the sea, which made the sea so stormy that the ship was in danger of breaking apart.

“Everyone who hears my words and obeys them is like a wise man who built his house on rock.

It rained hard, the floods came, and the winds blew and hit that house, and it fell with a big crash.”

The wind blows where it wants to and you hear the sound of it, but you don’t know where the wind comes from or where it is going. It is the same with every person who is born from the Spirit.”
