The Lord will help you defeat the enemies that come to fight you. They will attack you from one direction, but they will run from you in seven directions.

So they got up at twilight and went to the Aramean camp, but when they arrived, no one was there.

Jehoshaphat lived in Jerusalem. He went out again to be with the people, from Beersheba to the mountains of Ephraim, and he turned them back to the Lord, the God of their ancestors.

The men who were in ambush also came out of the city to help with the fight. So the men of Ai were caught between the armies of Israel. None of the enemy escaped. The Israelites fought until not one of the men of Ai was left alive, except
