Daniel 12:6

The man who was dressed in linen was standing over the water in the river. One of the two men spoke to him and asked, “How long will it be before these amazing things come true?”

We do not see any signs. There are no more prophets, and no one knows how long this will last.

Then six men came from the direction of the upper gate, which faces north, each with his powerful weapon in his hand. Among them was a man dressed in linen with a writing case at his side. The men went in and stood by the bronze altar.

Then I, Daniel, looked, and saw two other men. One was standing on my side of the river, and the other was standing on the far side.

I heard the answer, but I did not really understand, so I asked, “Master, what will happen after all these things come true?”

Then I heard a holy angel speaking. Another holy angel asked the first one, “How long will the things in this vision last—the daily sacrifices, the turning away from God that brings destruction, the Temple being pulled down, and the army of heaven being walked on?”

And I heard a man’s voice calling from the Ulai Canal: “Gabriel, explain the vision to this man.”

Later, as Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, his followers came to be alone with him. They said, “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that it is time for you to come again and for this age to end?”

“Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are going to happen?”

His purpose was that through the church all the rulers and powers in the heavenly world will now know God’s wisdom, which has so many forms.

It was shown them that their service was not for themselves but for you, when they told about the truths you have now heard. Those who preached the Good News to you told you those things with the help of the Holy Spirit who was sent from heaven—things into which angels desire to look.

And the seven angels bringing the seven disasters came out of the temple. They were dressed in clean, shining linen and wore golden bands tied around their chests.

The armies of heaven, dressed in fine linen, white and clean, were following him on white horses.

These souls shouted in a loud voice, “Holy and true Lord, how long until you judge the people of the earth and punish them for killing us?”
