Peter said to her, “Tell me, was the money you got for your field this much?” Sapphira answered, “Yes, that was the price.”

When you do things, do not let selfishness or pride be your guide. Instead, be humble and give more honor to others than to yourselves.

The love of money causes all kinds of evil. Some people have left the faith, because they wanted to get more money, but they have caused themselves much sorrow.
