He jumped up, stood on his feet, and began to walk. He went into the Temple with them, walking and jumping and praising God.

Crippled people will jump like deer, and those who can’t talk now will shout with joy. Water will flow in the desert, and streams will flow in the dry land.

At once the man was able to see, and he followed Jesus, thanking God. All the people who saw this praised God.

Be full of joy at that time, because you have a great reward in heaven. Their ancestors did the same things to the prophets.

Later, Jesus found the man at the Temple and said to him, “See, you are well now. Stop sinning so that something worse does not happen to you.”

So he cried out, “Stand up on your feet!” The man jumped up and began walking around.

Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them. Because he was so much stronger than all of them, they ran away from the house naked and hurt.

Then Peter took the man’s right hand and lifted him up. Immediately the man’s feet and ankles became strong.
