“People of Israel, listen to these words: Jesus from Nazareth was a very special man. God clearly showed this to you by the miracles, wonders, and signs he did through Jesus. You all know this, because it happened right here among you.

One night Nicodemus came to Jesus and said, “Teacher, we know you are a teacher sent from God, because no one can do the miracles you do unless God is with him.”

We want all of you and all the people to know that this man was made well by the power of Jesus Christ from Nazareth. You crucified him, but God raised him from the dead. This man was crippled, but he is now well and able to stand here before you because of the power of Jesus.

But if I use the power of God to force out demons, then the kingdom of God has come to you.

But if I use the power of God’s Spirit to force out demons, then the kingdom of God has come to you.

When the people saw this, they were amazed and praised God for giving power like this to human beings.

God also testified to the truth of the message by using wonders, great signs, many kinds of miracles, and by giving people gifts through the Holy Spirit, just as he wanted.

When I was with you, I patiently did the things that prove I am an apostle—signs, wonders, and miracles.

King Agrippa knows about these things, and I can speak freely to him. I know he has heard about all of these things, because they did not happen off in a corner.

“I, too, thought I ought to do many things against Jesus from Nazareth.

We have found this man to be a troublemaker, stirring up his people everywhere in the world. He is a leader of the Nazarene group.

I asked, ‘Who are you, Lord?’ The voice said, ‘I am Jesus from Nazareth whom you are persecuting.’

They shouted, “People of Israel, help us! This is the man who goes everywhere teaching against the law of Moses, against our people, and against this Temple. Now he has brought some Greeks into the Temple and has made this holy place unclean!”

When they arrived in Antioch, Paul and Barnabas gathered the church together. They told the church all about what God had done with them and how God had made it possible for those who were not Jewish to believe.

Paul stood up, raised his hand, and said, “You Israelites and you who worship God, please listen!

We heard him say that Jesus from Nazareth will destroy this place and that Jesus will change the customs Moses gave us.”

Then he said, “People of Israel, be careful what you are planning to do to these men.

When Peter saw this, he said to them, “People of Israel, why are you surprised? You are looking at us as if it were our own power or goodness that made this man walk.

Pilate wrote a sign and put it on the cross. It read: jesus of nazareth, the king of the jews.

I did works among them that no one else has ever done. If I had not done these works, they would not be guilty of sin. But now they have seen what I have done, and yet they have hated both me and my Father.

There had been many people with Jesus when he raised Lazarus from the dead and told him to come out of the tomb. Now they were telling others about what Jesus did.

Then the leading priests and Pharisees called a meeting of the council. They asked, “What should we do? This man is doing many miracles.

If I don’t do what my Father does, then don’t believe me.

If this man were not from God, he could do nothing.”

But many of the people believed in Jesus. They said, “When the Christ comes, will he do more miracles than this man has done?”

Don’t work for the food that spoils. Work for the food that stays good always and gives eternal life. The Son of Man will give you this food, because on him God the Father has put his power.”

When the people saw this miracle that Jesus did, they said, “He must truly be the Prophet who is coming into the world.”

“But I have a proof about myself that is greater than that of John. The things I do, which are the things my Father gave me to do, prove that the Father sent me.

Jesus said to him, “You people must see signs and miracles before you will believe in  me.”

Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We have found the man that Moses wrote about in the law, and the prophets also wrote about him. He is Jesus, the son of Joseph, from Nazareth.”

The one named Cleopas answered, “Are you the only visitor in Jerusalem who does not know what just happened there?”

to a town called Nazareth, and lived there. And so what God had said through the prophets came true: “He will be called a Nazarene.”

You few people of Israel who are left, do not be afraid even though you are weak as a worm. I myself will help you,” says the Lord. “The one who saves you is the Holy One of Israel.

I will show miracles in the sky and on the earth: blood, fire, and thick smoke.

The apostles were doing many miracles and signs, and everyone felt great respect for God.

But Peter said, “I don’t have any silver or gold, but I do have something else I can give you. By the power of Jesus Christ from Nazareth, stand up and walk!”

They told him, “Jesus, from Nazareth, is going by.”
