Since no one can say this is not true, you should be quiet. Stop and think before you do anything.

This is what Paul said to defend himself: “I have done nothing wrong against the law, against the Temple, or against Caesar.”

You say that others must not take part in adultery, but you are guilty of that sin. You hate idols, but you steal from temples.

Never do anything that might hurt others—Jews, Greeks, or God’s church—

We do not want anyone to find fault with our work, so nothing we do will be a problem for anyone.
