“Also, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about something and pray for it, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.

Then Jesus used this story to teach his followers that they should always pray and never lose hope.

When he considered this, he went to the home of Mary, the mother of John Mark. Many people were gathered there, praying.

After Herod arrested Peter, he put him in jail and handed him over to be guarded by sixteen soldiers. Herod planned to bring Peter before the people for trial after the Passover Feast.

The night before Herod was to bring him to trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains. Other soldiers were guarding the door of the jail.

If one part of the body suffers, all the other parts suffer with it. Or if one part of our body is honored, all the other parts share its honor.

And you can help us with your prayers. Then many people will give thanks for us—that God blessed us because of their many prayers.

Remember those who are in prison as if you were in prison with them. Remember those who are suffering as if you were suffering with them.

Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so God can heal you. When a believing person prays, great things happen.
