King David said to Absalom, “No, my son. We won’t all go, because it would be too much trouble for you.” Although Absalom begged David, he would not go, but he did give his blessing.

Absalom went to the king and said, “I have men coming to cut the wool. Please come with your officers and join me.”

Absalom said, “If you don’t want to come, then please let my brother Amnon come with us.” King David asked, “Why should he go with you?”

The master said to the servant, ‘Go out to the roads and country lanes, and urge the people there to come so my house will be full.

She and all the people in her house were baptized. Then she invited us to her home, saying, “If you think I am truly a believer in the Lord, then come stay in my house.” And she persuaded us to stay with her.

Soon Boaz came from Bethlehem and greeted his workers, “The Lord be with you!” And the workers answered, “May the Lord bless you!”
