Manasseh died and was buried in the garden of his own palace, the garden of Uzza. Then Manasseh’s son Amon became king in his place.

Amon was twenty-two years old when he became king, and he was king for two years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Meshullemeth daughter of Haruz, who was from Jotbah.

He was buried in his grave in the garden of Uzza, and his son Josiah became king in his place.

Manasseh’s son was Amon, and Amon’s son was Josiah.

The Lord spoke his word to Jeremiah during the thirteenth year that Josiah son of Amon was king of Judah.

They will bury him like a donkey, dragging his body away and throwing it outside the gates of Jerusalem.

This is the word of the Lord that came through Zephaniah while Josiah son of Amon was king of Judah. Zephaniah was the son of Cushi, who was the son of Gedaliah. Gedaliah was the son of Amariah, who was the son of Hezekiah.

Now Samuel died, and all the Israelites met and had a time of sadness for him. Then they buried him at his home in Ramah. David moved to the Desert of Maon.
