I tell you again: No one should think I am a fool. But if you think so, accept me as you would accept a fool. Then I can brag a little, too.

I wish you would be patient with me even when I am a little foolish, but you are already doing that.

You are wise, so you will gladly be patient with fools!

I must continue to brag. It will do no good, but I will talk now about visions and revelations from the Lord.

I have been talking like a fool, but you made me do it. You are the ones who should say good things about me. I am worth nothing, but those “great apostles” are not worth any more than I am!

But if I wanted to brag about myself, I would not be a fool, because I would be telling the truth. But I will not brag about myself. I do not want people to think more of me than what they see me do or hear me say.

If we are out of our minds, it is for God. If we have our right minds, it is for you.
