It is better to trust the Lord than to trust people.

Tell me in the morning about your love, because I trust you. Show me what I should do, because my prayers go up to you.

You have not handed me over to my enemies but have set me in a safe place.

I find rest in God; only he can save me.

How terrible it will be for those who try to hide things from the Lord and who do their work in darkness. They think no one will see them or know what they do.

The Lord showed me that people were making plans against me. Because he showed me what they were doing, I knew they were against me.

Nothing in all the world can be hidden from God. Everything is clear and lies open before him, and to him we must explain the way we have lived.

The men of Judah asked them, “Why have you come here to fight us?” They answered, “We have come to make Samson our prisoner, to pay him back for what he did to our people.”

Will the leaders of Keilah hand me over to Saul? Will Saul come down to Keilah, as I heard? Lord, God of Israel, tell me, your servant!” The Lord answered, “Saul will come down.”

Now, our king, come down anytime you want. It’s our duty to hand David over to you.”

Someone told Saul that David was now at Keilah. Saul said, “God has handed David over to me! He has trapped himself, because he has entered a town with gates and bars.”
