After these things had happened, this is what followed. A man named Naboth owned a vineyard in Jezreel, near the palace of Ahab king of Israel.

They answered, “He was a hairy man and wore a leather belt around his waist.” Ahaziah said, “It was Elijah the Tishbite.”

So stand strong, with the belt of truth tied around your waist and the protection of right living on your chest.

So prepare your minds for service and have self-control. All your hope should be for the gift of grace that will be yours when Jesus Christ is shown to you.
