Then Joseph told his brothers to go. As they were leaving, he said to them, “Don’t quarrel on the way home.”

The next day when Moses saw two men of Israel fighting, he tried to make peace between them. He said, ‘Men, you are brothers. Why are you hurting each other?’

When you have something against another Christian, how can you bring yourself to go before judges who are not right with God? Why do you not let God’s people decide who is right?

The fact that you have lawsuits against each other shows that you are already defeated. Why not let yourselves be wronged? Why not let yourselves be cheated?

You are not the same as those who do not believe. So do not join yourselves to them. Good and bad do not belong together. Light and darkness cannot share together.

How can Christ and Belial, the devil, have any agreement? What can a believer have together with a nonbeliever?

Whoever does not care for his own relatives, especially his own family members, has turned against the faith and is worse than someone who does not believe in God.
