Japheth’s sons were Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.

The sons of Noah were Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Gomer’s sons were Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah.

How terrible it is for me to live in the land of Meshech, to live among the people of Kedar.

“ ‘People of Greece, Tubal, and Meshech became merchants for you. They traded your goods for slaves and items of bronze.

There will also be Gomer with all its troops and the nation of Togarmah from the far north with all its troops—many nations with you.

“Human, prophesy against Gog and say, ‘This is what the Lord God says: I am against you, Gog, chief ruler of Meshech and Tubal.
