“Hear, My people, and I will admonish you; Israel, if you would listen to Me!

¶“Hear, My people, and I will speak; Israel, I will testify against you; I am God, your God.

“Oh that My people would listen to Me, That Israel would walk in My ways!

And He said, “If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in His sight, and listen to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I, the Lord, am your healer.”

Then he named the place Massah and Meribah because of the quarrel of the sons of Israel, and because they tested the Lord, saying, “Is the Lord among us, or not?”

Go near and listen to everything that the Lord our God says; then speak to us everything that the Lord our God speaks to you, and we will listen and do it.’

If we receive the testimony of people, the testimony of God is greater; for the testimony of God is this, that He has testified concerning His Son.
