I will open my mouth in a parable; I will tell riddles of old,
I will incline my ear to a proverb; I will express my riddle on the harp.
¶Why should I fear in days of adversity, When the injustice of those who betray me surrounds me,
To understand a proverb and a saying, The words of the wise and their riddles.
“Remember the former things long past, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me,
and He did not speak to them without a parable; but He was explaining everything privately to His own disciples.
and the Lord uprooted them from their land in anger, fury, and in great wrath, and hurled them into another land, as it is this day.’
