He trusted in the Lord, the God of Israel; and after him there was no one like him among all the kings of Judah, nor among those who came before him.

They were helped against them, and the Hagrites and all who were with them were handed over to them; for they cried out to God in the battle, and He answered their prayers because they trusted in Him.

Those who trust in the Lord Are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but remains forever.

Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, Whose hope is in the Lord his God,

To You they cried out and they fled to safety; In You they trusted and were not disappointed.

Israel has been saved by the Lord With an everlasting salvation; You will not be put to shame or humiliated To all eternity.

Let those who persecute me be put to shame, but as for me, let me not be put to shame; Let them be dismayed, but let me not be dismayed. Bring on them a day of disaster, And crush them with double destruction!

just as it is written: “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense, And the one who believes in Him will not be put to shame.”

For this is contained in Scripture: “Behold, I am laying in Zion a choice stone, a precious cornerstone, And the one who believes in Him will not be put to shame.”
