¶For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness; No evil can dwell with You.

Since I know, my God, that You put the heart to the test and delight in uprightness, I, in the integrity of my heart, have willingly offered all these things; so now with joy I have seen Your people, who are present here, make their offerings willingly to You.

One who practices deceit shall not dwell within my house; One who speaks lies shall not maintain his position before me.

The Lord tests the righteous and the wicked, And His soul hates one who loves violence.

Certainly the righteous will give thanks to Your name; The upright will dwell in Your presence.

“These things you have done and I kept silent; You thought that I was just like you; I will rebuke you and present the case before your eyes.

So have I seen You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and glory.

Lord, why do You reject my soul? Why do You hide Your face from me?

To declare that the Lord is just; He is my rock, and there is no malice in Him.

Can a throne of destruction be allied with You, One which devises mischief by decree?

Your eyes are too pure to look at evil, And You cannot look at harm favorably. Why do You look favorably At those who deal treacherously? Why are You silent when the wicked swallow up Those more righteous than they?

You have wearied the Lord with your words. Yet you say, “How have we wearied Him?” In that you say, “Everyone who does evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and He delights in them,” or, “Where is the God of justice?”

Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will follow My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our dwelling with him.

Pursue peace with all people, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.

But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.

And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God has illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb.

and nothing unclean, and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
