Listen to the sound of my cry for help, my King and my God, For to You I pray.
Nevertheless, turn Your attention to the prayer of Your servant and to his plea, Lord, my God, to listen to the cry and to the prayer which Your servant prays before You today,
¶The Lord is King forever and ever; Nations have perished from His land.
I will exalt You, my God, the King, And I will bless Your name forever and ever.
I was crying out to the Lord with my voice, And He answered me from His holy mountain. Selah
¶You are my King, God; Command victories for Jacob.
You who hear prayer, To You all mankind comes.
¶Yet God is my King from long ago, Who performs acts of salvation in the midst of the earth.
The bird also has found a house, And the swallow a nest for herself, where she may put her young: Your altars, Lord of armies, My King and my God.
For the Lord is our judge, The Lord is our lawgiver, The Lord is our king; He will save us—
You have heard my voice, “Do not cover Your ear from my plea for relief, From my cry for help.”
