¶I have called upon You, for You will answer me, God; Incline Your ear to me, hear my speech.

Because He has inclined His ear to me, Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live.

¶Tremble, and do not sin; Meditate in your heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah

¶As for me, I shall call upon God, And the Lord will save me.

On the day of my trouble I will call upon You, For You will answer me.

Let my prayer come before You; Incline Your ear to my cry!

Incline Your ear, Lord, and hear; open Your eyes, Lord, and see; and listen to all the words of Sennacherib, who sent them to taunt the living God.

But now Lord, our God, save us from his hand, so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that You alone, Lord, are God.”
