How blessed are those who maintain justice, Who practice righteousness at all times!

For he will never be shaken; The righteous will be remembered forever.

I have set the Lord continually before me; Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

¶Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken.

and My anger will be kindled, and I will kill you with the sword, and your wives shall become widows and your children fatherless.

“If you lend money to My people, to the poor among you, you are not to act as a creditor to him; you shall not charge him interest.

The righteous will never be shaken, But the wicked will not live in the land.

A person will not be established by wickedness, But the root of the righteous will not be moved.

He who profits illicitly troubles his own house, But he who hates bribes will live.

One who walks righteously and speaks with integrity, One who rejects unjust gain And shakes his hands so that they hold no bribe; One who stops his ears from hearing about bloodshed And shuts his eyes from looking at evil;

he keeps his hand from the poor, does not take any kind of interest on loans, but executes My ordinances, and walks in My statutes; he will not die for his father’s guilt, he will certainly live.

But when a wicked person turns away from his wickedness which he has committed and practices justice and righteousness, he will save his life.

and if he does not lend money at interest or take interest, if he keeps his hand from injustice and executes true justice between one person and another,

Among you they have taken bribes to shed blood; you have taken interest, you have injured your neighbors by oppression, and you have forgotten Me,” declares the Lord God.

As for evil, both hands do it well. The leader asks for a bribe, also the judge, And the great one speaks the capricious desire of his soul; So they plot it together.

and said, “What are you willing to give me to betray Him to you?” And they set out for him thirty pieces of silver.

If you know these things, you are blessed if you do them.

You shall not distort justice, you shall not show partiality; and you shall not accept a bribe, because a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and distorts the words of the righteous.

“When you make a vow to the Lord your God, you shall not delay to pay it, for the Lord your God will certainly require it of you, and it will be a sin for you.

Here I am; testify against me before the Lord and His anointed. Whose ox have I taken, or whose donkey have I taken, or whom have I exploited? Whom have I oppressed, or from whose hand have I taken a bribe to close my eyes with it? I will return it to you.”
