¶Arise, Lord; God, lift up Your hand. Do not forget the humble.
How long, Lord? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me?
¶Arise, Lord, confront him, make him bow down; Save my soul from the wicked with Your sword,
Show Your wonderful faithfulness, Savior of those who take refuge at Your right hand From those who rise up against them.
¶Arise, Lord; save me, my God! For You have struck all my enemies on the cheek; You have shattered the teeth of the wicked.
¶Arise, Lord, in Your anger; Raise Yourself against the rage of my enemies, And stir Yourself for me; You have ordered judgment.
Do not give the soul of Your turtledove to the wild animal; Do not forget the life of Your afflicted forever.
Has God forgotten to be gracious, Or has He in anger withdrawn His compassion? Selah
For He who requires blood remembers them; He does not forget the cry of the needy.
Be gracious to me, Lord; See my oppression from those who hate me, You who lift me up from the gates of death,
Arise, Lord, do not let mankind prevail; Let the nations be judged before You.
Rise up, Judge of the earth, Pay back retribution to the proud.
¶Lord, Your hand is lifted up, yet they do not see it. They see Your zeal for the people and are put to shame; Indeed, fire will devour Your enemies.
“Now I will arise,” says the Lord, “Now I will be exalted, now I will be lifted up.
Your hand will be lifted up against your adversaries, And all your enemies will be eliminated.
Then Samson called to the Lord and said, “Lord God, please remember me and please strengthen me just this time, O God, that I may at once take vengeance on the Philistines for my two eyes.”
