And they shall be on Aaron and on his sons when they enter the tent of meeting, or when they approach the altar to minister in the Holy Place, so that they do not incur guilt and die. It shall be a statute forever to him and to his descendants after him.

And everyone who eats it will bear the consequences for his guilt, because he has profaned the holy thing of the Lord; and that person shall be cut off from his people.

“Tell Aaron and his sons to be careful with the holy gifts of the sons of Israel, which they dedicate to Me, so as not to profane My holy name; I am the Lord.

You are presenting defiled food upon My altar. But you say, ‘How have we defiled You?’ In that you say, ‘The table of the Lord is to be despised.’

And the sons of Israel shall not come near the tent of meeting again, or they will bring sin on themselves and die.

You may eat it anywhere, you and your households, for it is your compensation in return for your service in the tent of meeting.

Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,

Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy way, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.

For the one who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself if he does not properly recognize the body.
