And the Lord said to Moses, “How long will this people be disrespectful to Me? And how long will they not believe in Me, despite all the signs that I have performed in their midst?

Because they did not believe in God And did not trust in His salvation.

In spite of all this they still sinned And did not believe in His wonderful works.

Do not harden your hearts as at Meribah, As on the day of Massah in the wilderness,

So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said to him, “This is what the Lord, the God of the Hebrews says: ‘How long will you refuse to humble yourself before Me? Let My people go, so that they may serve Me.

Then the Lord said to Moses, “How long do you refuse to keep My commandments and My instructions?

Be attentive to him and obey his voice; do not be rebellious toward him, for he will not pardon your rebellion, since My name is in him.

Then the Lord said to Moses, “I have seen this people, and behold, they are an obstinate people.

“How long, you naive ones, will you love simplistic thinking? And how long will scoffers delight themselves in scoffing And fools hate knowledge?

This wicked people, who refuse to listen to My words, who walk in the stubbornness of their hearts and have followed other gods to serve them and to bow down to them, let them be just like this undergarment which is completely useless.

¶Wash your heart from evil, Jerusalem, So that you may be saved. How long will your wicked thoughts Lodge within you?

But the house of Israel rebelled against Me in the wilderness. They did not walk in My statutes and they rejected My ordinances, which, if a person follows them, then he will live by them; and they greatly profaned My Sabbaths. Then I resolved to pour out My wrath on them in the wilderness, to annihilate them.

He has rejected your calf, Samaria, saying, “My anger burns against them!” How long will they be incapable of innocence?

“For this is what the Lord of armies says: ‘Just as I determined to do harm to you when your fathers provoked Me to anger,’ says the Lord of armies, ‘and I have not relented,

shall by no means see the land which I swore to their fathers, nor shall any of those who were disrespectful to Me see it.

“How long shall I put up with this evil congregation who are grumbling against Me? I have heard the complaints of the sons of Israel which they are voicing against Me.

So the Lord’s anger burned on that day, and He swore, saying,

And Jesus answered and said, “You unbelieving and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring him here to Me.”

And He answered them and *said, “O unbelieving generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring him to Me!”

but if I do them, even though you do not believe Me, believe the works, so that you may know and understand that the Father is in Me, and I in the Father.”

But though He had performed so many signs in their sight, they still were not believing in Him.

If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would not have sin; but now they have both seen and hated Me and My Father as well.

Yet in spite of all this, you did not trust the Lord your God,

For who provoked Him when they had heard? Indeed, did not all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses?

And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who were disobedient?

Do not harden your hearts as when they provoked Me, As on the day of trial in the wilderness,
