who will go out and come in before them, and lead them out and bring them in, so that the congregation of the Lord will not be like sheep that have no shepherd.”

but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

When He came ashore, He saw a large crowd, and felt compassion for them and healed their sick.

But He answered and said, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

Now Jesus called His disciples to Him and said, “I feel compassion for the people, because they have remained with Me now for three days and have nothing to eat; and I do not want to send them away hungry, for they might faint on the way.”

When Jesus went ashore, He saw a large crowd, and He felt compassion for them because they were like sheep without a shepherd; and He began to teach them many things.

“I feel compassion for the people because they have remained with Me for three days already and have nothing to eat.

For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things just as we are, yet without sin.

he can deal gently with the ignorant and misguided, since he himself also is clothed in weakness;
