Now Peter was sitting outside in the courtyard, and a slave woman came to him and said, “You too were with Jesus the Galilean.”

Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the Praetorium and gathered the whole Roman cohort to Him.

And Peter had followed Him at a distance, right into the courtyard of the high priest; and he was sitting with the officers and warming himself at the fire.

And while Peter was below in the courtyard, one of the slave women of the high priest *came,

Now the soldiers took Him away into the palace (that is, the Praetorium), and they *called together the whole Roman cohort.

After they kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter was sitting among them.

in the high priesthood of Annas and Caiaphas, the word of God came to John, the son of Zechariah, in the wilderness.

Now the chief priests and the Pharisees had given orders that if anyone knew where He was, he was to report it, so that they might arrest Him.

So Annas sent Him bound to Caiaphas the high priest.

Then they *brought Jesus from Caiaphas into the Praetorium, and it was early; and they themselves did not enter the Praetorium, so that they would not be defiled, but might eat the Passover.
