Matthew 26:18

And He said, “Go into the city to a certain man, and say to him, ‘The Teacher says, “My time is near; I am keeping the Passover at your house with My disciples.” ’ ”

And if anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord needs them,’ and he will send them on immediately.”

And do not be called leaders; for only One is your Leader, that is, Christ.

But as for you, do not be called Rabbi; for only One is your Teacher, and you are all brothers and sisters.

The disciples did as Jesus had directed them; and they prepared the Passover.

“You know that after two days the Passover is coming, and the Son of Man is to be handed over for crucifixion.”

And immediately Judas went up to Jesus and said, “Greetings, Rabbi!” and kissed Him.

While He was still speaking, people *came from the house of the synagogue official, saying, “Your daughter has died; why bother the Teacher further?”

While I was with you daily in the temple, you did not lay hands on Me; but this hour and the power of darkness are yours.”

When she had said this, she left and called Mary her sister, saying secretly, “The Teacher is here and is calling for you.”

But Jesus *answered them by saying, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.

Now before the Feast of the Passover, Jesus, knowing that His hour had come that He would depart from this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.

Jesus spoke these things; and raising His eyes to heaven, He said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify Your Son, so that the Son may glorify You,

Jesus *said to her, “Mary!” She turned and *said to Him in Hebrew, “Rabboni!” (which means, Teacher).

So they were seeking to arrest Him; and yet no one laid a hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come.

So Jesus *said to them, “My time is not yet here, but your time is always ready.

Go up to the feast yourselves; I am not going up to this feast, because My time has not yet fully arrived.”
