whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things, about which God spoke by the mouths of His holy prophets from ancient times.

They only asked us to remember the poor—the very thing I also was eager to do.

For the poor will not cease to exist in the land; therefore I am commanding you, saying, ‘You shall fully open your hand to your brother, to your needy and poor in your land.’

But whoever has worldly goods and sees his brother or sister in need, and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God remain in him?
