Matthew 24:6

And you will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end.

How then would the Scriptures be fulfilled, which say that it must happen this way?”

By your endurance you will gain your lives.

And when you hear of wars and revolts, do not be alarmed; for these things must take place first, but the end will not follow immediately.”

For I tell you that this which is written must be fulfilled in Me: ‘And He was counted with wrongdoers’; for that which refers to Me has its fulfillment.”

“Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.

Peace I leave you, My peace I give you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, nor fearful.

that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit, or a message, or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.

And another, a red horse, went out; and to him who sat on it, it was granted to take peace from the earth, and that people would kill one another; and a large sword was given to him.
