It is enough for the disciple that he may become like his teacher, and the slave like his master. If they have called the head of the house Beelzebul, how much more will they insult the members of his household!

Peter responded and *said to Jesus, “Rabbi, it is good that we are here; let’s make three tabernacles, one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

but I have prayed for you, that your faith will not fail; and you, when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”

And Jesus turned and saw them following, and *said to them, “What are you seeking?” They said to Him, “Rabbi (which translated means Teacher), where are You staying?”

Nathanael answered Him, “Rabbi, You are the Son of God; You are the King of Israel!”

The disciples *said to Him, “Rabbi, the Jews were just now seeking to stone You, and yet You are going there again?”

Jesus *said to her, “Mary!” She turned and *said to Him in Hebrew, “Rabboni!” (which means, Teacher).

this man came to Jesus at night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.”

And they came to John and said to him, “Rabbi, He who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you have testified—behold, He is baptizing and all the people are coming to Him.”

Meanwhile the disciples were urging Him, saying, “Rabbi, eat something.”

And when they found Him on the other side of the sea, they said to Him, “Rabbi, when did You get here?”

And His disciples asked Him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he would be born blind?”

Not that we domineer over your faith, but we are workers with you for your joy; for in your faith you are standing firm.

For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your bond-servants on account of Jesus.

from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name,

no longer as a slave, but more than a slave, a beloved brother, especially to me, but how much more to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord.

Do not become teachers in large numbers, my brothers, since you know that we who are teachers will incur a stricter judgment.

Then I fell at his feet to worship him. But he *said to me, “Do not do that; I am a fellow servant of yours and your brothers and sisters who hold the testimony of Jesus; worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

And he *said to me, “Do not do that; I am a fellow servant of yours and of your brothers the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God!”
