Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying, “It is through many tribulations that we must enter the kingdom of God.”

For consider your calling, brothers and sisters, that there were not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble;

But you have dishonored the poor man. Is it not the rich who oppress you and personally drag you into court?
