Six days later, Jesus *took with Him Peter and James, and his brother John, and *led them up on a high mountain by themselves.
And He was transfigured before them; and His face shone like the sun, and His garments became as white as light.
And He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee with Him, and began to be grieved and distressed.
As He was sitting on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John, and Andrew were questioning Him privately,
And He allowed no one to accompany Him except Peter, James, and John the brother of James.
When He came to the house, He did not allow anyone to enter with Him except Peter, John, and James, and the girl’s father and mother.
This is the third time that I am coming to you. On the testimony of two or three witnesses every matter shall be confirmed.
For we did not follow cleverly devised tales when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty.
and we ourselves heard this declaration made from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.
