Then Jesus said to her, “O woman, your faith is great; it shall be done for you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed at once.

“But He knows the way I take; When He has put me to the test, I will come out as gold.

He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will also hear their cry for help and save them.

For if He causes grief, Then He will have compassion In proportion to His abundant mercy.

Immediately Jesus reached out with His hand and took hold of him, and *said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?”

And she said, “Yes, Lord; but please help, for even the dogs feed on the crumbs that fall from their masters’ table.”

Now when Jesus heard this, He was amazed and said to those who were following, “Truly I say to you, I have not found such great faith with anyone in Israel.

And Jesus said to the centurion, “Go; it shall be done for you as you have believed.” And the servant was healed at that very moment.

But Jesus, turning and seeing her, said, “Daughter, take courage; your faith has made you well.” And at once the woman was made well.

And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace and be cured of your disease.”

The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!”

And He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”

Now when Jesus heard this, He was amazed at him, and turned and said to the crowd that was following Him, “I say to you, not even in Israel have I found such great faith.”

We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters, as is only fitting, because your faith is increasing abundantly, and the love of each and every one of you toward one another grows ever greater.

Therefore the Lord God of Israel declares, ‘I did indeed say that your house and the house of your father was to walk before Me forever’; but now the Lord declares, ‘Far be it from Me—for those who honor Me I will honor, and those who despise Me will be insignificant.
