Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of mankind was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of their hearts was only evil continually.

but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

And Jesus, perceiving their thoughts, said, “Why are you thinking evil in your hearts?

Therefore, repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray to the Lord that, if possible, the intention of your heart will be forgiven you.

For I know that good does not dwell in me, that is, in my flesh; for the willing is present in me, but the doing of the good is not.
