But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and when he began to sink, he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!”
Now when the attendant of the man of God had risen early and gone out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was circling the city. And his servant said to him, “This is hopeless, my master! What are we to do?”
¶Arise, Lord; save me, my God! For You have struck all my enemies on the cheek; You have shattered the teeth of the wicked.
And He said, “Come!” And Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water, and came toward Jesus.
Immediately Jesus reached out with His hand and took hold of him, and *said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?”
Keep watching and praying, so that you will not come into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
