“If you say, ‘How shall we persecute him?’ And ‘What pretext for a case against him can we find?’

The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit; He has ceased to be wise and to do good.

But the one who endures to the end is the one who will be saved.

But Peter replied to Him, “Even if they all fall away because of You, I will never fall away!”

and yet they have no firm root in themselves, but are only temporary; then, when affliction or persecution occurs because of the word, immediately they fall away.

Those on the rocky soil are the ones who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and yet these do not have a firm root; they believe for a while, and in a time of temptation they fall away.

Jesus answered them and said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate some of the loaves and were filled.

to those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, He will give eternal life;

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love.
