So he went down and dipped himself in the Jordan seven times, in accordance with the word of the man of God; and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.

But when the king of Israel read the letter, he tore his clothes and said, “Am I God, to kill and to keep alive, that this man is sending word to me to cure a man of his leprosy? But consider now, and see how he is seeking a quarrel against me.”

¶The Lord opens the eyes of those who are blind; The Lord raises up those who are bowed down; The Lord loves the righteous.

The afflicted will eat and be satisfied; Those who seek Him will praise the Lord. May your heart live forever!

But the Lord said to him, “Who has made the human mouth? Or who makes anyone unable to speak or deaf, or able to see or blind? Is it not I, the Lord?

On that day those who are deaf will hear words of a book, And out of their gloom and darkness the eyes of those who are blind will see.

The afflicted also will increase their joy in the Lord, And the needy of mankind will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

¶Bring out the people who are blind, even though they have eyes, And those who are deaf, even though they have ears.

“For My hand made all these things, So all these things came into being,” declares the Lord. “But I will look to this one, At one who is humble and contrite in spirit, and who trembles at My word.

So I pastured the flock doomed to slaughter, therefore also the afflicted of the flock. And I took for myself two staffs: the one I called Favor, and the other I called Union; so I pastured the flock.

Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those with leprosy, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.

Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and report to John what you hear and see:

Then He *said to the man, “Stretch out your hand!” He stretched it out, and it was restored to normal, like the other.

And those who were blind and those who limped came to Him in the temple area, and He healed them.

“ Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, “See that no one knows about this!”

And they were utterly astonished, saying, “He has done all things well; He makes even those who are deaf hear, and those who are unable to talk, speak.”

When Jesus saw that a crowd was rapidly gathering, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and do not enter him again!”

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He anointed Me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim release to captives, And recovery of sight to the blind, To set free those who are oppressed,

Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe; the works that I do in My Father’s name, these testify of Me.

but if I do them, even though you do not believe Me, believe the works, so that you may know and understand that the Father is in Me, and I in the Father.”

Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in His name as they observed His signs which He was doing.

this man came to Jesus at night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.”

But the testimony I have is greater than the testimony of John; for the works which the Father has given Me to accomplish—the very works that I do—testify about Me, that the Father has sent Me.

and said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So he left and washed, and came back seeing.

“Men of Israel, listen to these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a Man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know—

Listen, my beloved brothers and sisters: did God not choose the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?
