Mark 2:1

When Jesus came back to Capernaum a few days later, it was heard that He was at home.

and leaving Nazareth, He came and settled in Capernaum, which is by the sea, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali.

Getting into a boat, Jesus crossed over the Sea of Galilee and came to His own city.

But he went out and began to proclaim it freely and to spread the news around, to such an extent that Jesus could no longer publicly enter a city, but stayed out in unpopulated areas; and they were coming to Him from everywhere.

And many were gathered together, so that there was no longer space, not even near the door; and He was speaking the word to them.

And He *came home, and the crowd *gathered again, to such an extent that they could not even eat a meal.

And when He later entered a house, away from the crowd, His disciples asked Him about the parable.

Now Jesus got up and went from there to the region of Tyre. And when He had entered a house, He wanted no one to know about it; and yet He could not escape notice.

When He came into the house, His disciples began asking Him privately, “Why is it that we could not cast it out?”

And He said to them, “No doubt you will quote this proverb to Me: ‘Physician, heal yourself! All the miracles that we heard were done in Capernaum, do here in Your hometown as well.’ ”

And some men were carrying a man on a stretcher who was paralyzed; and they were trying to bring him in and to set him down in front of Him.

When he heard that Jesus had come from Judea into Galilee, he went to Him and began asking Him to come down and heal his son; for he was at the point of death.

And when this sound occurred, the crowd came together and they were bewildered, because each one of them was hearing them speak in his own language.
