And He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” And Peter answered and said, “The Christ of God.”

“What do you think about the Christ? Whose son is He?” They *said to Him, “The son of David.”

But Jesus kept silent. And the high priest said to Him, “I place You under oath by the living God, to tell us whether You are the Christ, the Son of God.”

And if you greet only your brothers and sisters, what more are you doing than others? Even the Gentiles, do they not do the same?

But He kept silent and did not offer any answer. Again the high priest was questioning Him, and *said to Him, “Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?”

He first *found his own brother Simon and *said to him, “We have found the Messiah” (which translated means Christ).

Nathanael answered Him, “Rabbi, You are the Son of God; You are the King of Israel!”

She *said to Him, “Yes, Lord; I have come to believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, and He who comes into the world.”

but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that by believing you may have life in His name.

“Come, see a Man who told me all the things that I have done; this is not the Christ, is He?”

and they were saying to the woman, “It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves and know that this One truly is the Savior of the world.”

Others were saying, “This is the Christ.” But others were saying, “Surely the Christ is not coming from Galilee, is He?

explaining and giving evidence that the Christ had to suffer and rise from the dead, and saying, “This Jesus whom I am proclaiming to you is the Christ.”

As they went along the road they came to some water; and the eunuch *said, “Look! Water! What prevents me from being baptized?”

But Saul kept increasing in strength and confounding Jews who lived in Damascus by proving that this Jesus is the Christ.

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves the child born of Him.
