The woman said, “Why then have you planned such a thing against the people of God? For in speaking this word the king is like one who is guilty, in that the king does not bring back his banished one.

¶“I, I alone, am the one who wipes out your wrongdoings for My own sake, And I will not remember your sins.

“I have wiped out your wrongdoings like a thick cloud And your sins like a heavy mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.”

And the master of that slave felt compassion, and he released him and forgave him the debt.

And his master, moved with anger, handed him over to the torturers until he would repay all that was owed him.

‘And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

Simon answered and said, “I assume the one for whom he canceled the greater debt.” And He said to him, “You have judged correctly.”

being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus,

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our wrongdoings, according to the riches of His grace

Be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.

bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so must you do also.
